Founded in Courtepin, Freiburg, in 1958, as the Migros meat processing operation by Gottlieb Duttweiler, the group of companies today includes Favorit Geflügel, Gabriel Fleury, KM Seafood, Lüchinger + Schmid, Maurer Speck, Mérat & Cie., Micarna, Natura Bündner Fleischtrocknerei, Optisol, Rudolf Schär and Tipesca. Furthermore, the companies Stauss Geflügel and KM Seafood, located in Germany, are also part of the group of companies.
The company achieves top quality with cutting-edge production plants and the highest standards in terms of hygiene, product and occupational safety. The company is consistently dedicated to species-correct rearing and low-stress transport of the livestock and ensures that the origin of each individual product can be seamless traced.
